Join our group homeschool music class, where kids explore the basics of notes, rhythms, songs, and making music together!

Limit of each class to 4 students. The small number allows for better quality instruction and more personalized interactions.

In this hands-on class, students will try a variety of instruments—like drums, ukuleles, guitars, piano (and more)—while learning the fundamentals of music in a fun and supportive environment. They’ll play together as a group, building teamwork and confidence, all while discovering the joy of creating music. It’s the perfect mix of learning, creativity, and fun!

The Music for Homeschoolers Class will be taught by Happy Valley School of Music co-owner, Tom Sandahl. Tom brings over three decades of working with children on all the instruments from the piano, guitar, ukulele, drums, and coaching rock bands, jazz ensemble etc.

Tom brings his experience and love for music and is excited to share with kids who are ready to explore music on many different levels.

Children are encouraged to bring instruments from home (if available). Otherwise they are welcome to use the school instruments including drums, guitars, ukuleles, bass guitar, piano and keyboards and various percussion instruments. These instruments stay at the school, however.

DETAILS:

We are offering two separate sessions: Tuesdays from 1 PM to 2 PM and Thursdays from 1 PM to 2 PM.

Starts Tuesday April 1st and runs for 6 weeks

Suggested age range is 7-13 years old. Please contact if you have a question regarding the age, we can make exceptions.
